2 Style Choices:

   Facts about the rope pet leashes:

-       Made of 100% acrylic yarn  -  they're washable

-       Hand friendly

-       Very strong (tensile strength exceeds 275 lbs.)(this is the test results on the MEDIUM size leash)

-       All leashes are handmade in Wilber, Nebraska, U.S.A. using a hand-operated rope making machine

3 SIZES AVAILABLE

SMALL  -  leashes are about 1/4" diameter and about 7 ft. long (before tying the handle) with a 2" snap hook and an optional 2" snap hook on the handle to carry your "pick-up" bag

MEDIUM  -  leashes are 3/8” diameter and about 7 ft. long (before tying the handle) with a 3” snap hook and an optional 2" snap hook on the handle to carry your "pick-up" bag

LARGE  -  leashes are 5/8" diameter and about 6 ft. long (before tying the handle) with a 3" heavy-duty snap hook

COLOR CHOICE

YOU get to choose the 2 colors for your leash.  I offer 22 colors for you to choose from.  (If you do not see the colors you want in the 22 offered, please contact me.  I may still be able to help you.)

You will be choosing a Primary Color (the color that there will be most of in your leash) and a Secondary Color (the color that will be 'TWISTED' or 'SPECKLED' into your leash)

COPY AND PASTE THE COLOR AND COLOR NUMBER INTO THE APPROPRIATE TEXT BOX.  (The color numbers correspond with Red Heart Yarn color code numbers.  I add these numbers here as a color aide.  You can go to a craft shop and reference the color code numbers so you know exactly what color you're ordering.)

PRIMARY COLOR - The color you want more of in the leash.

SECONDARY COLOR - The color that will be 'Twisted' or 'Speckled' into your leash.

Example:  A twisted Royal Blue and White leash can have 2 strands Blue and 1 strand White OR 2 strands White and 1 strand Blue.  In the photo at the top of the page, the PRIMARY COLOR (2 strands) is Royal Blue and the SECONDARY COLOR (1 strand) is White.

The 'BUG'

The 'BUG' is a tug toy for dogs.  The six (6) legs allows mutltiple dogs to play with it at one time.  Each leg is about 5/8" diameter and the toy is about 18" long.  They are made of 100% acrylic yarn.  This toy is available in the TWISTED style only.  And, like my leashes, you get to pick the color combination(s) for your dog toy.  You can pick one (1) color for $10.00, two (2) colors for $13.00, or three (3) colors for $15.00.

ABOUT THE ROPE MAKER
Les Vilda has been making quality hand-made ropes since 1988. Les has been teaching and/or demonstrating rope making at Scout meetings and camps, schools, festivals, county and state fairs, undergraduate and graduate college classes, museums, Mall of America (Bloomington, MN), Silver Dollar City (Branson, MO), libraries, historical societies, state parks, the Great Plains Chautauqua (Crete, NE) and numerous living history events all across the United States. Les has two booklets in print: "Rabi's Mountain Man Guide To: Making Rope"(1999) and “Olde Tymer’s Guide To Building A Rope Making Machine With Instructions On How To Use It" (2010). Les attended the National Rope Makers Convention in 2004, 2005, 2006, and 2009. Les co-coordinated the event in Crete, NE for 2006. During the 2005 Convention, Les was inducted into the American Rope Makers Guild with the title of "Master Rope Maker". Long story short, Les knows ropes. Be assured that the ropes Les will be making for you will be among the best hand-made ropes available in the United States.
